to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We Offer:
Direct Assistance and Support
Help in shopping, accompaniment to medical appointments, and companionship;
Tele-check (934-4273), a five-day-a-week
telephone check-up service for seniors living alone;
Home maintenance and support services
Rent-a-service for housekeeping, preparing light meals, and small chores;
Respite care.
Shared taxi service to activities at the Centre for members with poor mobility who are Westmount residents
Information and referral:
Advocacy of policies or issues of concern to seniors;
Social Events & Community Sharing
Arts & crafts fairs and seasonal celebrations;
Drop-in centre;
Community meals twice weekly;
Day trips and excursions;
Personal growth opportunities in the form of lectures, courses, films and workshops;
Arts & crafts, bridge, dance,
Health Promotion
Foot care and blood-pressure clinics;
Physical fitness (tai chi, low-impact aerobics and relaxation techniques);
Lectures on health, nutrition and well-being;
